Their work is a testament to generations of experience in letterpress printing and bookbinding, with each edition (typically 90 to 200 copies) designed and produced entirely in-house. They aim to surprise and delight collectors and institutions worldwide with their unique and beautiful volumes. Their creations often include original first editions or texts not easily available to the reading public.

What do they do?

Foolscap Press specializes in the art of the book. This includes:

• Designing, printing, and binding limited-edition books: They handle every step of the bookmaking process, from concept to the final bound volume. They utilize five presses of various sizes and possess a respectable amount of lead type for hand-setting, along with the capability to use polymer plates for digital typefaces and art reproduction.
