WP Maintenance Program Details

Monthly Software Updates: All software will be manually updated by your dedicated technician on a regularly scheduled monthly basis. If important security updates are released your website may receive additional updates during the month at no additional cost to you.

Monthly Database Optimization: Your MySQL database will be optimized to keep your website running at peak performance when your updates are applied.

*Backup Solution & Management: All programs include a license for our premium backup solution (BackupBuddy by iThemes). If your website or hosting account are not compatible with BackupBuddy, and another backup solution is needed, we will assist you in identifying one that will work for you, and getting it installed and configured at no extra cost. (You will be responsible for the associated license fees.) We will set up scheduled backups and ensure that they are running correctly. Backups will be stored in your hosting account, and we will also keep at least 3 backups offsite in case of catastrophic failure.

**Frontend Testing & Troubleshooting: When updates are performed, your technician will review the frontend of the website to confirm that everything is working as expected, and that there were no conflicts or problems as a result of the updated software. This includes testing contact forms and transactions when applicable. If any problems are discovered during testing, we will take action by troubleshooting and resolving the issue if possible. If we can’t resolve the issue within the allotted time based on your program, we will revert to a backup and alert you to the issue. Together we will decide on the course of action.

Security Software: All programs include installation and configuration of iThemes Security software. WordPress Plus and WooCommerce programs include a license for the premium version which includes enhanced security features. See details here.

Priority Service: When your website goes offline unexpectedly, stops working as expected, or worse yet – is hacked or compromised, your problem becomes our priority. Our goal is to address these important issues as soon as they are reported. We will assess the situation, provide you with an estimate, and resolve your issue. After hours service may be available, and billable at a higher rate.

Webmaster Time: If your program includes webmaster time, you can use this time towards any changes to your website, including basic changes, upgrades, new software installation and configuration, or emergencies. You can either contact your account manager or use our convenient ticketing system to submit your request. You can expect a prompt response!

Dedicated Technicians, Account Managers and WooCommerce Specialists: Your website updates and webmaster services will be managed by the same person or people each and every time. This ensures that you’re working with someone that knows your website and is proficient in its needs and functionality and efficient when it comes to making changes that you request. If you have a dedicated account manager, this means that you have someone you can contact if you have questions. If you have a WooCommmerce specialist, this means you have someone on your team that has experience working in WooCommerce and can provide guidance and assistance related to the day to day management of your ecommerce store, your workflow, and your process.
