All-in-one SEO solution for WordPress, including on-page content analysis, XML sitemaps and much more.
SEO > General
- Click Open the configuration wizard, then follow and complete the step-by-step instructions.
- After completing the wizard, if you need to configure more advanced settings, click the tabs on each section and configure as needed.
Since search engines use title and meta tags for search listings, each page or post’s title and meta tags should be optimized manually for best results.
- On each page/post, there is a section below the content area called Yoast SEO. Customize the SEO title and Meta description (do not change the Slug). Be sure to Update the page/post when done to save changes.
- If you don’t want search engines to index a specific page/post, click the dropdown menu under Advanced and choose No. This is not guaranteed to stop indexing so don’t use this method for pages with sensitive/private information. This method is good for items like Thank You pages since they are irrelevant in search results and can skew your conversion stats if accessed directly.
